Aram J. Pothier

He was an American politician of French Canadian origin, the 51st and 55th Governor of Rhode Islandfrom 1909 to 1915 and from 1925 until his death in 1928.

Career

Arrived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, at 18. Began, 1875, as clerk, Woonsocket Institution for Savings, with which has ever since been identified, and is now president. Also president Union Trust Company, Providence.
