Removed to Delaware, O., 1857. Educated Ohio Wesleyan University.

Career

Private to captain, 4th and 73d Ohio Vols., in Civil War, taking part in many battles. Wounded at Peach Tree Creek and again at Dallas, Georgia. Returned to Delaware, O.

Mayor, 1869; admitted to bar, 1871. Became partner, 1863, in Delaware Chair Company. Postmaster of Delaware, O., 1881-1885.
