Arghavan Khosravi was born in 1984 in Iran.
Arghavan Khosravi spent her childhood in Tehran.
In 2006, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Islamic Azad University. It was followed by a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the University of Tehran three years later.
To pursue her studies, Khosravi relocated to the United States where she joined a post-baccalaureate studio-art program at Brandeis University. She completed it in 2016 and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design within two years.
Arghavan Khosravi started her career in graphic design and illustration working in the area for about a decade. Then she relocated to the United States and pursued her profession as a painter.
Khosravi has had solo and group exhibitions in the United States, including Morgan Lehman Gallery, Super Dutchess Gallery, and Yossi Milo Gallery, in Iran, and China. She has been an artist in residence in the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, the Studios at MASS MoCA, North Adams, and Monson Arts.
Nowadays, Arghavan Khosravi lives and works in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Arghavan Khosravi is an accomplished artist praised both by art critics and art amateurs.
Khosravi has also been a recipient of many fellowships including the Walter Feldman Fellowship.
Khosravi’s art is acquired by several private and public collections, such as the Rhode Island of School of Design Museum, Private Collection of Rosanne Somerson, Private Collection of Diane Fogg, and Private Collection of Will Leung.
