Career
He is 1.92 m (6 ft 3 ¾ in) tall. Tatarounis began playing basketball with the junior youth teams of Panathinaikos. In the 2005-2006 season, he trained some with Panathinaikos" senior men"s team, but he did not play in any games with them.
In the 2006-2007 season, he played in the semi-pro 3rd tier Greek B League with Pagrati.
He made his professional debut during the 2007-2008 season with Panathinaikos. In his career, Tatarounis has played with the following clubs: Pagrati, Panathinaikos, Panelefsiniakos, Ionikos Newfoundland, KAP Agia Paraskevi, Near East, and Sporting.
