Sham attended Diocesan Boys" School (Primary) in Hong Kong before attending Harrow School in London. He graduated from Harrow in 2015. He is, as of January 2016, a freshman at Harvard University.
He has been featured in the Channel 4 programme, The World"s Greatest Musical Prodigies.
