Worked in the area of a thematic picture of historical and revolutionary content. In the 1960s, he gave preference to a portrait, a landscape, a still-life. He painted a plafond at the Spartak cinema (died during the Great Patriotic War), a panel for the Voronezh Drama Theater (1946), a bas-relief on the House of Books depicting the leaders of the world proletariat (the early 1950s, co-authored by V.N. Avdeev).
Education
He studied at the Lipetsk Real School (1914-1920) and the city art studio (1919-1920), the Voronezh Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops (1921-1922), the Voronezh Art and Industrial Technical School (1923-1927) taught by A.A. Buchkuri, S.M. Romanovich, V.P. Trofimov.
Career
In 1927 he was the artist-decorator of the Voronezh Drama Theatre. In 1929, together with AA. Buchkuri organized teaching in the Voronezh City Art Studio. In 1933, he participated in the organization of the association "Artist" and Voronezh branch of the Union of Artists. Head of the art studio at the Union of Artists (since 1934). . In 1944-1948 he was the chairperson of the Voronezh branch of the Union of Artists. Teacher of the art studios of the Club of Students, the House of Culture named after Karl Marx (1950-1960).

Member of regional and republican exhibitions since 1925. Member of the Youth Association of the Association of Artists of the Revolution (1926).Member of the Union of Artists (1934).
