He was educated in the city schools (Milwaukee), he received an architectural training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts.
In his youth he entered the office of the late Henry G. Koch (perhaps his father), with whom he continued practice until 1910, later established an independent office in Milwaukee.
Well known professionally in his native city, Mr. Koch, after being elected to the Wisconsin Chapter, A. I. A. in 1908, served as president in 1912. During his career he served as architect of the Wells Building (subsequently opened an office there); the Waldheim Building, and the City Athletic Club. He also did work in other cities, including the Gruenwald Hotel at New Orleans built about 1910, and a Masonic Home at Dousman, Wis.
Well known professionally in his native city, Mr. Koch, after being elected to the Wisconsin Chapter, A. I. A. in 1908, served as president in 1912.
