Oldberg, Arne was born on July 12, 1874 in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. Son of Oscar and Emma (Parritt) Oldberg.

Education

Edward high schools, Chicago. Studied with Theodore Leschetizky, Vienna, and Joseph Rheinberger, Munich, 3 years. Honorary Master of Arts, 1916.

Career

Professor piano and composition, director piano department and graduate department School of Music of Northwestern University, 1897-1941. Retired 1941.
