KASK, Arnold was born in 1902.
1929-1943 taught Estonian in Tartu secondary school. Since 1940 instructor in methods of Estonia language teaching, Pedagogical Institute, Tartu University. Since 1941 instructor in Estonia language and methodology, Tartu Teachers’ Seminary.
Since 1944 lecturer, then Head, Chair of Estonia Language, Tartu University. 1947-1952 Head, Estonia Language Section, Institute of Language and Lit., Estonia Academy of Sciences. Board member, Society for the Mother Tongue.
