Career
2nd prize at the All-Union Competition of Musicians-Soloists, Leningrad, 1935. Soloist in the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, 1927-1931, and in the Moscow Philharmonic from 1928. Taught at the Gnesin Music-Pedagogical Institute.
Wrote music for French horn for theatre plays.
