1922 collected Dag and Kabardian songs and arranged Don Cossack songs. 1923-1926 associate, State Institute of Musical Sciences. 1926 defended his thesis on Universal’naya 48-tonovaya sistema (A Universal 48-Tone System).
1927 demonstrated his system at Frankfurt-on-Main. 1930-1931 conducted an optional course at Rostov Conservatory on his tone system. Helped produce sound films: Plan velikikh robot (A Plan of Great Works).
