Career
From age 14 worked as hired hand. Look part in 1917 October Revol. 1918 wounded; 1919 volunteer in fighting against Denikin's troops.
1922 with Black Sea Fleet. Then worked for Extraordinary Commission Against Counterrevolution, Sabotage and Speculation. From 1917 worked for Bolshevik newspapers.
Until 1926 member, "Pereval” (The Pass) lit group. Then joined Russian Association of Proletarian Writers. 1937 arrested by State Security organs.
