He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later at the Ecole des Beaux Arts.
In 1896 Mr. Dillon opened an office in New York, and after a period of association with other architects maintained independent practice the rest of his life. Among his most important works were the Public Library at South Orange, N. J., the War Memorial at Lake Champlain, N. Y. and various other buildings in New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Dillon had been a member of the New York Chapter, A.I.A. since 1908 and was also a member of the Architectural League of New York.
