Hartmann, Arthur was born on July 23, 1882 in Hungary. Son of Sigmond and Peppi (Schweiger) Hartmann.

Education

Began study of music under father, at 3 1/2 years of age.

Career

Has toured in every country of Europe and throughout United States. Appeared as soloist with the leading orchestras, and in recitals, in Paris, with Claude Debussy. Leader Hartmann String Quartet.
