Achievements include discovery of flare characteristics of 66 Oph and other associated phenomena; co-discovery of faint Open Cluster region flare stars; photographic and photoelectric astronomer of chromospherically active stars and B(e) stars; observational photographic and photoelectric research of Flare Stars. Recipient Copernicus Quincentennial medal, 1973; grantee in field.
