DAVID, Arthur Evan was born in July 1861 in Saint Fagan’s Rectory, Cardiff. 3rd son of Reverend William David, Rector of Saint Fagan’s, and sometime Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford, and Margaret Harriett Thompson.

Career
Assistant Curate Saint Peter’s Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton, 1884-S7. Vice-Principal ! of the Leeds Clergy School, and Assistant Curate of the Parish Church, Leeds, 1887-1890. When health broke down, and under medical advice, came to Australia.
