Joined the 11th Hussars, 1854. Was present at the siege and capture of Sevastopol (medal and clasp and Turkish medal). Also the King’s Coronation medal, Knight Commander of the Order of Christ of Portugal, and Kaisar-iHind medal.
Served ten years in India with the 11th, and commanded the regiment for some years, and brought it home. Was Aide-de-Camp to Field-Marshal His (or Her) Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge. Was Assistant AdjutantGeneral of the Forces.
Adjutant-General of the Bombay Army. Commanded the troops in Scotland for live years. Was awarded the good service pension for distinguished and meritorious service.
Is representative in the female line of the Annesleys, Earls of Anglesey, Earls of Mount Norris, and Viscounts Valentia, and of George, 1st Lord Lyttelton. And Honorary Colonel lltli Prince Albert’s Own Hussars.
