He received his early education from Government higher secondary school in Marghuz, and later graduated from University of Peshawar.He started his career as educationist and founded Quaid-e-Azam public school in the town of Zaida, Swabi District.
Career
He belongs to a very respected family of the Malik"s in the village of Marghuz, Swabi District. In the 2013 general elections he stood from NA-13 SWABI-II and PK-35 SWABI-V where he was elected as legislator from both but he held on to PK-35 SWABI-V constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly by 2600 unaccounted votes against his candidate from PML-North, the result was changed (pressing down when he became the Speaker) and then got elected by the provincial assembly, as Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. Although there is a lot of resentment against him in the entire party for exceeding his jurisdiction and violating laws/direct orders from the center al secretariat however he still enjoyes his position in the party.

Prior to joining PTI, Asad Qaiser was an active member of Jamaat-e-Islami"s student wing.He joined PTI in 1996 and began his career in PTI as a worker and rose to the rank of district president of Swabi.He was initially appointed as the provincial President of PTI in 2008;the office he held till 2011 when the provincial leadership was dissolved by chairman PTI Imran Khan prior to the Intra-Party elections.In March 2013, he swept the Intra Party elections by defeating Parvez Khattak by 14 votes.
Membership
As a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he was elected as member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly from Swabi District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Asad Qaisar is one of the founding and prominent workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in KPK.He is also the current president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter.
