Not to be confused with Ashok Chouhan" He lives in New Delhi. Chauhan graduated and after receiving a scholarship from the German government, moved to Germany in the 1970s. In the mid 1990s, Chauhan founded Amity, and then in 2005, he founded Amity University, which became the first private university in India.
