This text seeks to sensitize readers to the rationale of play and leisure experiences for children with various disabilities and to illustrate how they and others can learn from their experiences. This new edition reviews new ways that promote integrated activities within the community and home and demonstrates to practitioners and parents how they can take a more active role in strengthening the opportunities.
