Commands include submarines D-1 and L-2, submarine divisions 9 and 10, United States Ship Bruce (destroyer), United States Ship New Orleans (cruiser), Amphibious Transport Division 5, and Service Squadron 8. Foreign service includes duty European and Asiatic stations and in South America.
