Career
At the age of 15, she gained work experience at British Broadcasting Corporation 1Xtra and subsequently entered the Xtra Talent competition at 16 to become a DJ on the same station. In September 2004 she was offered a month on the Xtra Talent slot on Sundays from 3-6 american In 2005 she was given her own slot on Saturday mornings from 6-9 american
Ayesha was a co-host with Sam and Mark on the CBBC Show Level Up, and Do Something Different.
Ayesha was also a presenter on Cbeebies radio,(also on BBC7) which broadcast in March 2007. Now Ayesha has her own business called Purple Turtle Beads that sells handmade jewellery.
She was part of a Samba drumming group for 3 years.
Membership
Ayesha has been a member of Street John Ambulance for eight years and is qualified in first aid.
