Tezel was born in London to a Turkish father and a New Zealander mother.

She is best known for her roles in Meet Maine in Miami (2005) and Court of Lonely Royals (2007). She took her first ballet lesson when she was three years old and enrolled at repertory theatre when she was eight. Tezel relocated to Sydney, Australia in 2004 and landed leading roles in the feature films Gene X and Court of Lonely Royals.
She has since returned to London to study Method Acting and has completed work on the feature film "London Thing" along with the internet series "Conquering Demons", "Manhattan Money" and various short films.
Tezel has been involved in voice acting for numerous commercials including Oklahoma! Magazine,Path of Exile The Beverly Hills Hotel, Sheila"s Wheels, Barclays Bank and Air New Zealand.
