Erdman, Barbara was born on January 30, 1936 in New York City. Daughter of Isidore and Julia (Burstein) Erdman.

Visual artist, Santa Fe, since 1977. Guest critic Studio Arte Centro International, Florence, Italy, 1986. Guest lecturer Austin College Sherman, Texas, 1986.
