Professor of English Literature
Since 1983 she is the William R. Kenan, Junior. Professor of English Literature and of History and Literature at Harvard University. Lewalski graduated Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Emporia State University in 1950 and Master of Arts in 1951, Doctor of Philosophy in 1956 at the University of Chicago.
She was a Guggenheim Fellow in 1967.
