Formerly with Union Light, Heat & Power Company (Covington, Kentucky), Great Northern Railway, Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Cincinnati & Columbus Traction Company, and Jackson & Battle Creek (Michigan) Traction Company. Operator Shawinigan Water & Power Company, Petroquest Energy, Canada, 1904. Assistant superintendent Saint Paul Gas Light Company, 1905-1906.

Assistant electrical engineer Twin City (Minnesota) Rapid Transit Company, 1906-1908.

With United States Reclamation Service, 1909-1924. As assistant engineer, Los Angeles, 1909-1910.

Electrical engineer in charge construction and operation of power and pump system of Minidoka Project, Idaho, 1910-1915. And project manager same, 1916-1923.

Chief electrical and mechanic engineer bureau of Reclamation, Denver, Colorado, 1923-1924.

Private practice since 1924, as construction engineering on works including Coolidge Dam, San Carlos Irrigation Project, Arizona, Wapato Project, Washington, Flathead Project, Montana, Pensacola Dam and hydroelectric development, Oklahoma, Bonneville Project, Washington-Oregon, Denison hydro electric development, Texas, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Studies for development of Columbia, Clark’s Fork, Missouri and Osage Rivers, Bear Valley Mutual Water Company, National Irrigation communications of Mexico, Garrison hydroelectric development, North Dakota, Chief Joseph hydroelectric development, Washington.
