Divola is a journalist, author and musician. He writes regularly for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Good Weekend Magazine. He is also a contributing writer to The Australian, Qantas Magazine, Eureka Street and New Atlas. His work has appeared internationally in Rolling Stone, Monocle, National Geographic, Entertainment Weekly and Spin. He specialises in writing about music, the arts, popular culture, podcasts and travel. He also plays in two bands, The Off Set and Radio Radio.

Achievements

• He won the Banjo Paterson Award for short fiction in 2004, 2005 and 2006 for his stories Nipple, Cicada Boy and Nixon.
