Career
He is the editor author of the 1987 book The Rise of a Gay and Lesbian Movement, and later editor of The Global Emergence of Gay and Lesbian Politics (1998). He has also written widely on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and served on the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome Committee in Windsor, Ontario. He also helped to found the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Studies Association.
