He was the last member to join the band, then named Waterface. The band had tried a number of guitarists before asking Westhead to join them as keyboardist. His arrival has been heralded as the most significant event in the band"s formation, because he was the one with connections at Electric and Music Industries. Westhead has the distinction of having an advanced qualification in piano (level above grade 8)
Westhead and his partner Kelly have two children, a boy, Joseph, born on April 12, 2007. and a girl called Scarlett, born on June, 2010.
