Career
1949-1950 he worked with Jay Gujarat and Mashal, Gujarati language-journalist published in Bombay. He then became involved in trade union struggles and joined the Communist Party of India. He also worked for India Abroad, and was its correspondent in San Francisco, United States of America. Following the 2002 Gujarat violence, Vora emerged as a staunch critic of the Narendra Modi state government.
Vora died from cancer at the age of 74 in 2004.
