Career

First principal Indiana State Seminary, Bloomington, Indiana, 1824-1828, professor ancient langs., 1828-1831. Ordained to ministry Presbyterian Church, Indiana, 1825. Preacher Bloomington, Presbyterian Church, 1826-1830.

An organizer Synod of Indiana, 1826. Opened and taught in an academic, Bedford, Pennsylvania, 1831-1838. Principal Park Institute, also pastor Dutch Reformed Church, Brooklyn, 1852-1862.
