Her most famous roles were Marsha Simms on Happy Days and Etta Candy on Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter as Diana Prince and the title character. Besides Happy Days and Wonder Woman, she also appeared in over 200 episodes of television shows, most of them sitcoms with a few dramas. During the early seasons of Happy Days, she starred as Milwaukee-based carhop Marsha Simms in seasons 1-3 and 5.
She was also the first actress to portray Etta Candy in a live action adaptation of the District of Columbia comic book series Wonder Woman. She only appeared during its first season after the television film pilot in 1976-1977 for all thirteen episodes which were set during World World War World War II Colen acted in the television films like, "Schoolboy Father", "Brave New World", and many other feature films such as: "Life Guard", "High Anxiety", "American People’s", and "Who"s that Girl?" with Madonna.
She also guest starred on a number of television shows such as The Odd Couple, All in the Family, The Love Boat, Barney Miller (1981, episode: The Rainmaker), The Wonder Years, and Baywatch. Her final television appearance before retiring was in an episode of Nickelodeon"s The Secret World of Alex Mack.
