Debut on stage at 17, in Manchester, England, under Sir Henry Irving in his revival of “Robespierre”. Came to the United States with Ellen Terry, 1907, and returned, 1908, 1909, under direction of Charles Frohman. With the New Theatre Company, New York, during its first season, 1910.
Has devoted her attention largely to lecturing on the drama and the woman’s movement, since 1910. Has spoken for woman suffrage in over 30 states. Lectured for Progressive Party, 1912.
Lectures for League of Nations Union, Great Britain and France.
