Education
Barkat received a Bachelor in English Literature from Kharazmi University, and has completed a Master of Arts degree in General Linguistic at University of Tehran. He was later granted by a scholarship to study for his doctorate in France, Collège de Sorbonne and majored in comparative literature and translation.
