Career
She has performed her work widely in venues around Australia. She is the author of Every Time You Close Your Eyes" (Wakefield Press, 2014),Ambulances & Dreamers (Wakefield Press, 2008) and Urban Squeeze (Ginninderra Press 2003). Schenk’s creative work is complemented by her arts administration work – from 2008 to 2011 she was employed as the artistic director of Express Media in Melbourne, and worked for many years prior to that at the Société Anonyme Writers’ Centre.
