Career
He played college football at Tennessee. Bartholomew played high school football at Montgomery Bell Academy. He earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association Division II-3A All-State first team honors as a senior in 2007.
He also participated in wrestling and track and field
Bartholomew played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2008 to 2012. He was redshirted in 2009.
He also participated in track and field for the Volunteers as a shot putter. He was named to the 2009 Academic All-Securities and Exchange Commission team and the 2008 Securities and Exchange Commission Freshman Academic Honor Roll.
New England Patriots
On May 3, 2013, He signed with the New England Patriots of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent.
On August 30, 2013, He was released.
