Lubschez photographed city life from 1900 to 1920. Also, he was an architectural photographer, his images appearing in several architectural and photographic magazines.
Until 1918 Lubschez worked in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, when he moved to New York, United States to work for H. Van Buren Magonigle. Later, he opened his own offices, and in 1944 he joined the firm of Voorhees, Walker, Foley, Smith, where he remained until his 1961 retirement.
In 1911 Ben founded the Kansas City chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and was its president for five years.
