He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (36th pick) of the 1977 National Basketball Association Draft, and played for them in 1978-1979. He also played for the Utah Jazz in 1980-1983, the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1984-1987, and the Chicago Bulls in 1987. He left the National Basketball Association after that season.
