In 1962, when he was only 19, Abduraimov became the Soviet Top League top goalscorer with 22 goals and Pakhtakor finished the season in Soviet Top League at 6th place.

Career
He is regarded as one of the best strikers and greatest football players in the history of Uzbek football. He started his football career in Uzbekistan Youth football team in 1959, he made his debut. 1959 he began to play for main squad of in Soviet Top League.
In the same year he became Merited Master of Sport.
He also played for Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow and Meliorator Yangiyer. In 2001 by initiative of Uzbekistan Football Federation and football magazine Nash Futbol was founded uzbek goalscorers club after his name - the Club 200 of Berador Abduraimov.
He scored totally 221 goals in his career. With 358 matches for he is the 2nd most capped player of the club
He scored totally 131 goals for and is 2nd best goalscorer of after Gennadi Krasnitsky with 202 goals.
In 1961 he debuted for Soviet youth football team and scored in match against Romania. He started his coaching career as manager of Sports school of youth players. He worked as trainer of in 1987.
