Bert Anthony Adams was from 1956 to 1968 a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from Leesville in Vernon Parish in western Louisiana.

Career

Born in DeRidder in Beauregard Parish, Adams was a decorated United States Army veteran of World World War II and the Korean War. He was a company commander of the Louisiana National Guard, from which he was discharged with the rank of captain.

Achievements

  • In addition to the Bronze Star Medal for bravery, he received five Battle Stars and a Battlefield Commission. Adams won his second term in the Democratic primary election held on December 5, 1959.
