Quotations:
"Grown of not, they're still your kids - and sometimes you think they need your help, even though they don't want you to act like a parent anymore. Other times, they want something from you - but you want them to stop acting like children and get on with their lives."
"The inspiration for my book came from witnessing Eileen Clegg act as a wise parent for her grown children, my own experience participating in parent support groups as my children were growing up, and my own work in providing a safe place for parents to talk about their grown children."
"The work of Rabbi Zalman Schacter-Shalomi inspires me to support elders to share their wisdom with future generations and to foster well-being in their children and grandchildren. After fifteen years of providing family therapy in a private practice, I want to reach more people with my message; thus, the books."
Betty is the member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Redwood Empire Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Betty has two children: Sylvia Frain, Michael Resneck.
