Beverly worked as a secretary board of directors of the West Side Arts Coalition in New York City, United States from 1985 to 1987. In this year she was a Co-chair. She held this position until 1988. From 1988 to 1989 she was a speaker, moderator. In 1988 Beverly became a director of a gallery. From 1989 to 1991 she worked as a co-chair of the Pen and Brush Incorporated in New York City, United States. In two years she worked at the Summit County Arts Council in Breckenridge, Colorado, United States.
