Coiner, Beverly Waugh was born on December 20, 1857 in Leon, Decatur Company, Iowa, United States. Son of Erasmus Tully and Mary E. (Young) Coiner.


Bachelor of Science, Iowa Wesleyan College, 1879. Studied law with Woolson & Babb, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, 1879-1880.


Pleasant, November 1, 1880. Admitted to Iowa bar, 1880. Practiced, Mount Pleasant, 1880-1884.

Mayor of Mount Pleasant, 1882-1884. Removed to Tacoma, Washington, 1884, and since practiced there. Prosecuting attorney Pierce Company, Washington, 1887-1889, 1895-1896.

Appointed United State Attorneys, Western District of Washington, 1912, and served till close of Taft administration. Chairman Republican State Central Committee, Washington, 1910, 11, 12. Major United States Vols. during Spanish-American War and Philippine Insurrection.


It is the person’s choice to be saved and one can fall from grace by not following God therefore losing salvation.
