Bhupendra Nath

Bhupendra was born on December 6, 1934 in Patna, India. Son of Rajendra and Shyampyari (Kuer) Nath.

Education

Bhupendra studied at Patna University in Bihar, India. In 1954 he received a degree of the Bachelor of Arts. In two years he became a Master of Arts. In 1969 he was a student of the Viswabharati University in West Bengal, India. He became a Doctor of Philosophy.

Career

Bhupendra started a career as Lecturer in Philosophy in 1956 and worked till becoming Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy at Magadh University in Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. He served as Dean of Humanities at Magadh University in Bodhgaya in 1994. Bhupendra served as President of Religion section of Indian Philosophical Congress in 1980.
