Education

In 1921, Bihari Lal Gulatee graduated from Punjab University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1924, he graduated from Cambridge University with a Master of Arts degree. His research was focused on geophysics and geodesy.

Career

Bihari Lal Gulatee specialized in geophysics. He worked as a director at Geodetic and Training Circle, Survey of India, and as director-general of Lands and Survey, Ethiopia. He was fellow of the National Institute of Sciences of India, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (in London). Furthermore, the scientist was a delegate of various international conferences. A lot of his articles and research papers were published.
