Career
Bottomley made his Manchester City debut in October 1908 in a 1-0 victory against N ottinghamshire County. He made 98 league appearances for Manchester City and scored two goals. He scored his first goal for the club in the 1911/12 season in a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion and his second goal for the club in the 1912/13 season in a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
