Career
He played for the Cleveland Indians in 1968 and the Kansas City Royals in 1969. Harris was interviewed by author Doug Kurkul for the book, "Portrait of a Franchise: An Intimate Look at Cleveland Indians Baseball During the Rockin" Sixties." Harris describes in the book his quick ascent from college ballplayer to minor league prospect to major league infielder.
