Career
Listed at 6" 2", 190 pounds, he batted and threw left-handed. In 1960, MacLeod had a 9-0 record during his final season at Gloucester High School. He also had a decent season in 1961, going 8-6 for the PCL Seattle Rainiers, and entered the majors in 1962 with the Red Sox.
In two relief appearances, MacLeod posted a 0-1 record with two strikeouts, one walk, four hits allowed, and a 5.40 European Research Area in 1.2 innings of work.
MacLeod was back in the minors in 1963. In 1965, while pitching for Double-A Pittsfield in the Eastern League, he finished with an 18-0 record.
He retired after the 1968 season.
