Billy begin his career in England. In 2006 he moved to Australia where he joined, ECU Joondalup. He then moved to Sorrento Football Club where he was scouted by Perth Glory Football Club. He represented Australia (Perth glory Football Club) in the Wiefang cup in China at under 19"s level, playing against China, United Arab Emirates, South of Korea and Poland.
Quinncroft was Golden Boot winner in 2007,2008 and 2009 for Sorrento Football Club, from which lead him to a contract for Perth Glory Football Club in 2010. He also won "most improved young player" for Sorrento Football Club in 2009/2010. Quinncroft also represented Australia at under 19"s level in the Weifang Cup through Perth Glory Football Club. While his time at Armadale South Carolina he captained the club for 2 seasons, he also won "player of the year" in 2014.
