Career
Li Bing built a massive water conservation project, constructing the Dujiangyan irrigation system. This system comprised three major projects: Fenshuiyan, Feishyayan and Baopingkou.

Before the consruction of Dujiangyan, Li Bing and his son Li Erlang conducted a lengthy study on the Minjiang River. They recorded river conditions and planned the Dujiangyan project according to those conditions. They first created an opening at the upper stream of the Minjiang River.
